Add to Home screen is a feature available in modern smartphone browsers that allows users to install a shortcut of a Web App (PWA) to their Home screen, so they can access PWA easily with a single tap.
On Android, Chrome & New Edge Browser automatically shows PWA install prompt which encourages the user to add an app to their home screen.
UC Browser shows a banner (popup) for PWA when the criteria are met.
Firefox & Samsung Internet shows an icon in address bar for PWA.
Brave browser automatically shows PWA install prompt.
Opera Mini browser doesn't show anything for PWA.
On iPhone, Safari Browser has add to home screen feature but doesn't show PWA install prompt automatically. So we have developed some popups which educates & encourages the user how to add PWA on iPhone homescreen.
You can't install PWA from WebView or In-app-browser like Facebook's In-app-browser.

Step-1: Tap Share Icon shown at footer center in iPhone Safari.
Step-2: Choose 'Add to Home Screen'. (Scroll right/down to find it)

Android Chrome Browser has best support for PWA and automatically shows PWA install prompt.
Step-1: Tap on 'Add to Home screen' prompt shown at footer. OR
(Click on three dots shown at top right corner and select 'Add to Home screen' from menu.)

You can even install PWA on Windows Desktop using Chrome & Edge Desktop Browser.
How to add PWA to desktop?
Step-1: Click on '+' icon shown in chrome addressbar at last. OR
(Click on three dots shown at top right corner and select 'Install App Name' from menu.)
Step-2: Click on 'Install' button shown in popup.
